PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dust collecting filter cloth excellent in collection efficiency in a bag filter apparatus for collecting dust from an exhaust gas, and a bag filter consisting of the same. SOLUTION: In the dust collecting filter cloth constituted of base cloth and the webs on both sides thereof, the web on the side of the dust collecting surface of the base cloth is constituted of a mixture of polyphenylene sulfide fibers of 0.3-2.0 d having a Y-shaped cross section and polyphenylene sulfide fibers having a circular cross section and a web using polyphenylene sulfide fibers of 2.0 d having a round cross section is piled up on the back of the base cloth.
