<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle for a display medium for not generating falling of a child particle or burial in a mother particle and not generating the decline of display quality even when the number of times of display increases, and to provide a panel for information display using the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The particle for a display medium configures the display medium used for the panel for information display which has the display medium enclosed in a space between two substrates opposite to each other, at least one of the substrates being transparent, and displays information such as an image by moving the display medium, and the particle for the display medium is made of a composite particle obtained by sticking or fixing a child particle to a mother particle. In the particle for the display medium, by using the copolymer of an ethylene resin and a cycloolefin resin composed of a norbornene backbone as the mother particle, the child particle is buried in the mother particle and then curing is performed.
