<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide decentralization and suction force of connection ducts, meeting needs without changing respective functions, and to effectively prevent scattering of radioactive material due to change of connection portions, in regard to a local exhauster. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the suction mechanism of the local exhauster, a chamber device 3 is mounted and fixed to an upper part of the local exhauster 1 comprising a substantially box shape, both devices are mutually communicated by a communication hole, and air is sucked via a suction opening into a chamber device side from a local exhauster side and it is exhausted from an exhaust duct 4.
