摘要 |
The invention relates to a method for recognizing and locating defects in a fuel cell, wherein the voltage along the edges of a bipolar plate is detected. Advantageously, the presence of a de-energized region can be concluded directly from the course of the voltage curves. In addition, the position of the de-energized region can be concluded and thereby located from the position of the peak maxima that are determined in the voltage curves. The method is particularly suited for fuel cells, or fuel cell stacks comprising direct methanol fuel cells, or fuel cells operated with hydrogen. Provided that the conductivity of the bipolar plates is not too high, the method may also be employed for high-temperature fuel cells. |
