PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing a clay board using a cotton fiber and a clay board manufactured thereof are provided to manufacture a fire prevention clay board for a building interior by mixing 20~40 volume % of water with clay and the cotton fiber and by applying a cotton net to make the plate shaped board. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing a clay board using a cotton fiber comprises the following steps: step 1, mixing the cotton fiber and clay in a volume ratio of 1:1~30, and adding 20~40 volume % of water; step 2, mixing the clay and the water in a ratio of 1:0.2~0.5 volume %; step 3, weaving the cotton fiber into a net; step 4, spreading the mixed clay material from the step 2 on a middle board after putting a floor board for drying the clay board and the middle board on top the floor board; step 5, spreading the cotton net weaved from the step 3 on the mixed clay material, and making sure to flatten and attach the cotton net on the clay material; step 6, spreading the mixture from the step 1 on the cotton net, and molding; step 7, putting a paper on the molded mixture and spreading an upper middle board on top of the paper; step 8, applying a pressure on the floor board for drying the clay board and the mixture; step 9, separating the mixture and the upper middle board, and covering an upper board on the floor board for drying the clay board to match the edge of the floor board for drying the clay board; and step 10, fixing the upper board and the floor board for drying the clay board together with pliers in an omega shape, and drying.
