<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing seal having improved sealing performance while functioning to effectively prevent the mutual unpacking of a slinger and a core metal having a seal lip member. <P>SOLUTION: The packing seal 6 is mounted between two members 2, 3 to be mutually and coaxially rotated. It includes the slinger 7 having a cylindrical porion 7a integrally fitted and mounted onto one of the two members, and a collar portion 7b continuously provided at one end of the cylindrical portion 7a, the core metal 8 having a cylindrical portion 8a integrally fitted and mounted onto the other member, and a collar portion 8b continuously provided at one end of the cylindrical portion 8a, and the seal lip member 9 integrally fixed to the core metal, and having seal lips 9a, 9b for elastically and slidably contacting the slinger. To the other end 7aa of the cylindrical portion of the slinger, an annular elastic member 10 is integrally fixed which has a lip portion 10a extending to a position where it is laid on the collar portion of the core metal on the opposite side to the face of the collar portion of the core metal opposite to the collar portion of the slinger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
