<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic timepiece capable of prompting a user to generate power to quickly recover a timepiece function if the electronic timepiece is in an environment enabling power generation by the user, when a supply voltage drops, and preventing considerable exhaustion of a charge amount of a secondary battery if the environment does not allow power generation by the user, and quickly recovering the supply voltage when power generation is allowed. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic timepiece having an electric wave reception function and a power generation function stops a reception function of electric wave reception means and continues timing operation of timing means based on the supply voltage having been lower than a first level range (YYY-YYY'), and stops the timing means based on an elapse of a warning period (T1) without the supply voltage having exceeded the first level range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
