SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FAULT ANALYSIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fault analysis method capable of collecting minimum information required for fault analysis, and transmitting it to an analysis place.

SOLUTION: The gateway device 200 includes: a fault detector 201 for detecting a fault at one or a plurality of devices 401-404 on a first network 100; a communication situation recorder for recording identification information of each communication partner when communication is performed between the devices 401-404; and an operation information acquisition unit 204 for acquiring operation information of the devices 401-404 and transmitting it to an analysis device 300. The analysis device 300 includes a fault analyzer 301 for performing fault analysis on the devices 401-404 using the operation information. The operation information acquisition unit 204 specifies a counterpart device communicated in the past with a device, at which the fault detector 201 detects the fault using the identification information recorded at the communication situation recorder, and acquires the operation information of the communications partner and transmits it to the analysis device 300.
