<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microtome with a cassette replacing device capable of simply, rapidly and/or safely handling a cassette containing a sample. <P>SOLUTION: The microtome 12 has the cassette replacing device including a fixed guide bar 16. The latter (fixed guide bar) guides a second slider 20 for guiding a first slider 18. The first and second sliders 18 and 20 are mutually connected so that the first slider 18 accompanies the second slider 20 to relatively move with respect to the second slider 20 by the movement of the second slider 20 along the fixed guide bar 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
