PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the personal identification of a user who has performed access through a network in order to use content such as e-learning. SOLUTION: A personal identification server is installed in a Web server for transmitting content such as e-learning content. When receiving the request of log-on from a user terminal, the Web server transmits a program for photographing a face image, and compares the face image photographed by the Web camera of the user terminal with information preliminarily registered in a user database, and performs personal identification. The transmitted program for photographing is temporarily stored in a user terminal, and an instruction for photography is received from the Web server in a prescribed timing even during the use of content, and the face image photographed by the Web camera is transmitted to the Web server.
