PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit including a new cleaning unit improved in maintenance performance by surely compressing dust scraped off by a brush. SOLUTION: This cleaning unit 16 disposed in the indoor unit includes the brush 70 for scraping off dust attached to an air filter, a compression rod 71 disposed on a position opposed to the brush 70, and a dust box 72 for storing the dust. The brush 70 and the compression rod 71 are disposed adjacent to each other, both along a width direction of the air filter.
