PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system, a guidance method and a guidance program for traffic situation to support smooth running when a line of vehicles exists in front of one's own vehicle. SOLUTION: A controlling device 11 of the navigation system 10 detects a guidance point to which own vehicle should change its direction, and decides whether a first line of vehicles following the guidance point exists, while deciding whether a second line of vehicles exists between the first line of vehicles and the own vehicle. If the first line of vehicles and the second line of vehicles exist, it decides whether a zone into which the own vehicle can proceed between the first line of vehicles and the second line of vehicles, and if it is decided that the zone exists, it guides the own vehicle to proceed in front of the first line of vehicles.
