<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implement for mounting a panel, which enables the panel to be mounted on the undersurface of a girder, without reference to the presence or absence and position of a scaffold. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A mounting beam 1 is provided under the girder of a structure, and the panel for covering the undersurface of the girder is fixed in the state of being applied to the undersurface of the mounting beam. The implement 31 for mounting the panel, which is used for temporarily placing the panel on the mounting beam 1 in the case, includes a gripping portion 31a and a rising portion 31b which can be freely attached on/detached from the panel and which protrudes upward from a top surface of the panel when mounted on the panel; and the rising portion 31b is provided with a locking means 30. The panel can be supported by the gripping portion 31a, and lowered in a suspended state; and the locking means 30 has the function of locking the panel to the mounting beam 1. The panel 3 is temporarily placed on the mounting beam 1 by the locking means 30, and fixed to the mounting beam 1; and after that, the implement 31 can be detached from the panel.
