<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vacuum cleaner which simultaneously removes dust of each filter that filters coarse dust and minute dust to prevent a deterioration of sucking power even when dust is sucked. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electric vacuum cleaner is provided with a first filter 27a which filters coarse dust and a second filter 27b which filters minute dust placed in series inside a dust collecting case 5 where dust collected by sucking is accumulated and a dust removing mechanism is provided to the second filter 27b for removing minute dust attached. A vibration propagation section 84 for propagating the vibration generated by the second filter 27b while removing dust to the first filter 27a is installed so as to prevent clogging of the filter and maintain a high sucking power by removing dust from the first filter 27a and the second filter 27b at the same time and to improve reliability of the dust removing movement without needing to install dust removing mechanism inside a flow channel while filtering dust.
