The headlight has an optical unit (3) provided with a segmented lens (3'), which includes two lens segments (S1-S3), such that a set of light images (b1-b3) of a set of LED lighting elements (5, 5') overlie and/or displaced relative to each other. The light images are formed by the lens segments, such that another set of light images (B4) is formed as a homogeneous optical pattern, which are resulted from the former set of light images of the lens segments. The latter set of light images is arranged on a measuring screen in directly adjoining or overlapping manner.
