The device (100) has a transport unit (1) for transporting an arcuated element in a horizontal plane. Another transport unit (2) is provided for feeding another arcuated element in a level inclined to the horizontal. The two transport units are controlled by a common controller. One transport unit is regulated by multiple of transport elements rotating on a closed path and multiple independently controllable linear motors (6). The linear motors have closed guide paths and multiple linear motor runners.
