The system has a printer-server (3) evaluating image files and processing sequences. A client computer (1) has an image processor to process a temporary file. The computer is connected with a data server (2) by secured Internet protocol (IP) communication connections (4, 5) to read the image files in the data server. The computer is connected with the printer-server by IP-processing connections (6, 7) to transfer processing data from the computer to the printer-server. The data server is connected with the printer-server by secured IP data connections (8, 9) to transfer the image files. An independent claim is also included for a method of processing image files in remote-data servers.
