<p>Provided is an ultrasonographic device (1) including an ultrasonic oscillator (3) having a first and a second piezoelectric element (33, 34). The ultrasonographic device (1) forms an ultrasonogram by using a higher-harmonic component in a received ultrasonic signal. The ultrasonographic device (1) uses the first piezoelectric element (33) to transmit an ultrasonic signal of a fundamental wave to a portion of a examinee (2) deeper than a predetermined depth and uses the second piezoelectric element (34) to transmit an ultrasonic signal of the higher-harmonic to a portion of the examinee (2) shallower than the predetermined depth. The ultrasonic signal of the higher-harmonic from the examinee (2) is received via the second piezoelectric element (34).</p> |
