<p>A main control process common to machine tools of any structure is provided. A main control process is made to be common to any machine tools by describing a tool excursion including a change in posture on a coordinate system (30) fixed to an object (W) to be worked in a NC program, fixedly placing a preparatory reference coordinate system (20) on a machine table (2), expressing an installation position of the object (W) and a position of a main axis (91) having a tool (11) mounted in the preparatory reference coordinate system (20), and enclosing parts associated with a constitution of a driving axis in a variable function group of correlation between the position (q) of the main axis (91) and a driving axis coordinate (r). That is, processes of reading the NC program, correcting the tool excursion and converting the position of the main axis to the excursion based on the installation position of the object to be worked, a tool shape and a size of the tool are made completely common, and in addition, the control process including control of acceleration and deceleration after calculation of the excursion of the main axis position is made common by appropriately calling the variable function group.</p> |
