<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual surround audio system with a high-directivity audio vibration output function capable of preventing crosstalk at a listening position in executing virtual surround processing of multichannel audio signals, achieving rear sound image localization having high reproduction by a front speaker and having a wide listening area. <P>SOLUTION: The virtual surround audio system includes: a signal processing section for converting a multi-channel signal input from the outside into first and second audio signals of two channels while maintaining sound image localization of the rear of a listener at a listening position; a first high-directivity speaker for input of the first audio signal converted by the signal processing section and outputting sound; and a second high-directivity speaker for input of the second audio signal converted by the signal processing section and outputting sound. The first and second high-directivity speakers are arranged at positions opposite to the listening position so that directive sound fields each formed by sound output of the first and second audio signals should not be superimposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
