<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular lighting lamp using a light-emitting element as a light source, which is reduced in size, and forms a light distribution pattern having a clean cutoff line while enhancing utilization efficiency of light source luminous flux. <P>SOLUTION: In the vicinity of a rear side focal point F of a projection lens disposed on an optical axis Ax extending in the front and rear directions of the lamp, a light-emitting element 14 is disposed which has a horizontally long light-emitting surface 14A. At that time, the light-emitting surface 14A of this light-emitting element 14 is constituted of a plurality of light-emitting chips 14a, and disposed while being diagonally and upwardly directed toward the front side on the more rear side than the rear side focal point F. A mirror member 18B having an upwardly reflecting surface 18Ba is then disposed between the rear side focal point F and the light-emitting surface 14A. In the vicinity of the upper side of the light-emitting element 14, a reflector 16 is disposed which reflects the light from the light-emitting surface 14A toward the projection lens 12. This allows the clean cutoff line to be formed even if positions of the plurality of the light-emitting chips 14a are out of alignment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
