PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure even the visibility of a web page for a user without reducing the operability of relevant electrical apparatus, when displaying the web page on a display unit of an image forming apparatus, or the like.

SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises: a display unit for displaying an image thereon; a web browser 5221 for displaying a web page on the display unit; an operational status detection section 5212 for detecting an operational status of the image forming apparatus by the section 5212; and a panel application 5222 for displaying the operational status detected by the operational status detection section 5221 on a status area of the display unit. The web browser displays the web page on the area of the display status other than the status area.
