PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle navigation device capable of determining the aspect of an optional traffic signal that is present on a route along which a vehicle will travel. SOLUTION: The traffic signal data stored in an information storage part of the on-vehicle navigation device includes: traffic signal numbers, installation position information of each traffic signal and information on the aspect of the traffic signal that can determine the aspect; and information showing a correspondence relationship between the aspect and time of the each traffic signal. Based on the above preconditions, the on-vehicle navigation device includes: a step (S10) of determining setting of an object traffic signal by selecting a signalized intersection on a map screen; a step (S31) of searching for a route to reach the object traffic signal from a current location; a step (S60) of reading out the set traffic signal on the route from the map data; a step (S70) of calculating the required time to travel between the current location and the nearest traffic signal on the route and the required time to travel between adjacent traffic signals on the route; a step (S80) of estimating information on the aspect of each traffic signal based on the required time and the information on the aspect of the traffic signal stored in the traffic signal data; and a step (S90) of determining and reporting the aspect of the object traffic signal at the time of arrival.
