<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin brightener having high skin-brightening effect, and to provide an anti-aging agent having high anti-aging effect, and to provide a skin cosmetic containing either the skin brightener or the anti-aging agent. <P>SOLUTION: The skin brightener or the anti-aging agent includes at least one of Myrica cerifera extract, Irisversicolor extract, Piper kadzura extract, Primula veris extract, Aloysia triphylla extract, Agrimononia pilosa extract, Vaccinium spp. extract, Apium graveolens extract, Tamarix tenuissima extract and Passiflora edulis extract.
