PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mandrel which can accurately hold a large belt on the central line of an apparatus such as a lathe, and to enable such a belt to be manufactured at a low cost without a saccate member.
SOLUTION: On both ends of a cylindrical core shaft 1, a pair of circular plates 3 and 5 are respectively arranged. A groove 6 is formed or preformed on the surface of the plate 3 or 5 in such a manner that the groove 6 may face two adjacent circular plates, and the mandrel is formed by arranging an O ring 7 in the groove 6. When a space between the plate 3 and the plate 5 is clamped by a bolt, the O ring 7 is deformed and partially projects from the peripheries of the plates 3 and 5. Therefore, if the clamping is uniform, a gap between the mandrel and a sheet 10 becomes sufficiently uniform when the cylindrical sheet 10 made of a metal is fitted on the mandrel. In addition, by fitting or forming a belt base material 12 around the sheet 10 via the belt 11, and forming a coating on the top, the belt having the coating can be obtained.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
|
