It is possible to reduce anode concentration overvoltage and improve fuel cell generation performance without increasing a cost. Provided is a fuel cell system including: a fuel cell (1) which generates electricity by an electro-chemical reaction of a fuel containing liquefied ammonium and an oxidant; a fuel supply means (13) which supplies the fuel to the fuel cell (1); an oxidant supply means (10) which supplies the oxidant to the fuel cell (1); a temperature measurement means (17) which measures a temperature of the fuel cell (1); and a control means which controls a pressure of the fuel supplied to the fuel cell (1) from the fuel supply means (13).
