<p>Disclosed is an electromagnetic induction method fixing apparatus with a structure that enables a reduction in warm-up time by increasing the rate of temperature rise. The electromagnetic induction method fixing apparatus has a structure whereby a fixing roller is provided on the inside of the orbital path of a cylindrical fixing belt and is pressed from the outside of the orbital path with a compression roller by means of the fixing belt, and secures an anchoring nip. When the inner diameter of the fixing belt is Db, the outer diameter of the fixing roller is Dr, and the inner diameter Db of the fixing belt divided by the outer diameter Dr of the fixing roller is a ratio X, the combination of the fixing belt and the fixing roller used is in the range 0 < X = 1.18.</p> |
