PURPOSE: A display device using a delayed gate signal and a driving method thereof are provided to make a gate signal fall before the end time of a horizontal scanning period by changing a first gate control signal to a second gate control signal by the delay of a reference time. CONSTITUTION: A timing controller(110) outputs a plurality of video data, data control signal and a first gate control signal. A data driving circuit(120) receives a plurality of video data synchronized with a data control signal, changes into a plurality of data voltage and outputs those line by line with a horizontal scanning period unit. A control signal converting circuit(130) delays a first gate control signal as a preset time based on preset reference signal. The control signal converting circuit changes the first gate control signal into the second gate control signal. A gate driving circuit(140) successively outputs a plurality of gate signals in response to the second gate control signal.
