The apparatus has a hollow needle (5) for delivering a sample e.g. liquid substance, into a sample receiving inlet of a measuring device, and a container for receiving washing solvent (13) e.g. organic washing liquid. A dosing device i.e. dilutor (1), is provided for dosing the sample, where the dosing device receives and delivers the sample through the needle. A washing pump (11) pumps the solvent stored in the container via a washing line (10) and the needle. A check valve (2) is arranged between the line and the needle. The valve is designed as a ball check valve. An independent claim is also included for a method for cleaning an apparatus for receiving a sample and for delivering the sample into a sample receiving inlet of a measuring device. |
