TEMPORARY BRIDGE ADJUSTABLE IN LENGTH AND ITS CONSTRUCTION METHOD

PURPOSE: A length-variable temporary bridge using steel beams and a construction method thereof are provided to easily control the length of steel beams without loss of material and to enable recycle of the steel beams without area reduction. CONSTITUTION: A construction method of a length-variable temporary bridge(100) is as follows. Studs(112) welded to both ends of a central segment(110) are connected to studs(122) welded to end segments(120) using splice plates(130) and nuts(135). The end segments are connected corresponding to the designated length of the temporary bridge. An intermediate anchoring device(180) is fixed to the central segment and end anchoring devices(150) are installed on the end segments so that the load resistance is enhanced by tension members(152).
