<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for forming a doughnut-like food by which a food material can be formed into a ring shape by simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The forming apparatus 1 includes: a supplying part 2 for supplying the food material; a discharging part 3 for continuously discharging the supplied food material from a nozzle member; a forming part 4 for dividing and forming the continuously discharged food material into the doughnut shape; a belt conveyor 5 for transporting the resultant formed product formed into the doughnut shape; and a supporting part 6 for supporting the formed product. The supplying part 2 supplies a skin material F and an inner material G to the discharging part 3 under pressure. The discharging part 3 is provided with an inner forming member 32, and the inner material G is intermittently discharged from an annular discharging port 34 on the periphery thereof to continuously discharge the skin material on both sides thereof and thereby form a tubular formed product. The forming part 4 is provided with a plurality of shutter pieces 40 disposed on the periphery of the discharging part 3, and the tubular formed product continuously discharged from the nozzle member is divided and formed into the doughnut shape by operating the plurality of shutter pieces 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
