<p>The present invention relates to novel MALDI matrices for the analysis of low-molecular-weight compounds in both positive and negative ion mode. In addition, the present invention relates to the rational selection of the MALDI matrices for predetermined analytes, a process which has remained empirical since the invention of the technique. In another aspect, the present invention provides a new, fast and high-throughput method for analyzing low-molecular-weight compounds by MALDI analysis as well as systems therefore.</p> |
