Portable device including earphone circuit and operation method using the same

A portable communications device includes an interlace unit to which a three-pole earphone or a four-pole earphone is connected. The device also includes a controller that activates a microphone function prepared in a terminal body when the three-pole earphone is connected. When the four-pole earphone is connected, the controller deactivates the microphone function of terminal body. The device also includes an audio processing unit that is configured to output an audio signal to the three-pole earphone or the four-pole earphone under a control of the controller.
