The method involves connecting the medium pipes and arranging a foam casing around an annular space which is formed between the cladding ends of both the pipes. The cladding has an inner foam layer (5) and an external plastic layer (6). The foam casing is removed and a shrink sleeve (8) is arranged over the foamed annular space. The annular space is covered with a separating foil (7) before arranging the foam casing. |
