<p>The invention relates to a method for producing a strips-shaped composite material comprising at least one metal film, at least one backing that is disposed on the metal film, and at least one layer which is arranged on the backing and is made of a nonwoven or woven fabric. Also disclosed is a corresponding composite material. The invention further relates to an apparatus for producing a strip-shaped composite material comprising at least one metal film, a backing, and a layer made of a nonwoven or woven fabric. Said apparatus is equipped with means for unwinding the nonwoven or woven fabric layer, first means for heating the metal film, at least one covering section, and means for feeding the metal film, the backing, and the nonwoven or woven fabric layer in a strip-shaped manner to the covering section. The aim of the invention is to devise a method and design an apparatus for producing a strip-shaped composite material comprising at least one metal film, at least one backing that is disposed on the metal film, and at least one nonwoven or woven fabric layer which is arranged on the backing, said method and apparatus making it possible to obtain significantly higher processing speeds. Said aim is achieved by a method in which the metal film, the backing, and the nonwoven and/or woven fabric layer are unwound from a coil or a roll and are jointly fed to a covering section, the metal film is heated prior to being covered, the backing and the nonwoven and/or woven fabric layer are applied in a covering manner to the heated metal film, and the covered metal film is then reheated at least once.</p> |
