Pressure-sensitive adhesive tape comprises a transparent carrier film and a layer of a transparent pressure-sensitive adhesive, where: the carrier film has a refractive index (n d2>0>) of not more than 1.458 and a transmittance of >= 90%; the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a refractive index (n d2>0>) of at least 1.470 and a transmittance of at least 90%; and the transmittance of the adhesive tape in the bonded state on a glass plate is at least 90%.
