An auto-injector provides a user with recorded speech output and visual output feedback in order to allow for easy injection of medications. The pre-recorded voice feedback gives the user information on the status of the injection device, details of the expiration date of the medicament, and/or an indication of the position of the medicament delivery device. The visual output is produced by a light emitting device disposed at the distal end of the device. The injector may comprise at least one sensor and the electronic output system. The electronic circuit system may be incorporated into a label which is affixed to the housing of the device. |
