PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion battery having sufficient strength, even in the case that a metal porous body is used in a thin electrode. SOLUTION: In a lithium ion battery having a negative current collector comprising a metal porous body having three-dimensional net structure, the metal porous body consists of a main body part 4 for holding an active material and a current taking out terminal part 2 which is formed integrally with the main body part 4 and extending in the length direction of the metal porous body, current-collecting parts 3 connected to the current leading out terminal part 2 are formed in a part of the main body part 4, and the pore openings of metal in the current leading out terminal part 2 and the current-collecting parts 3 are made larger than the pore openings of metal in the main body part 4. |
