<p>The method involves forming partial book blocks (10.1-10.3) of sheets (8.1, 8.2, 8.4) including a top sheet (8.3), and placing a marking ribbon (2) on the top sheet with a volatile hot-melt adhesive in a loop shape. The sheets are deposited on the partial book block to form a gathered book block with four unbound sides. A side of the gathered book block including the ribbon is bound, and the unbound sides of the gathered book block are trimmed. The ribbon is unwound from a supply roll. A cover is glued at a book block spine during binding of the book block to produce a brochure. An independent claim is also included for a device for affixing a marking ribbon to a book product, comprising an unwinding device.</p> |
