The manufacturing method involves providing a mantle with a cavity facing an inner layer, where the inner layer is formed during extrusion of an extruded hollow profile. A blank is extruded by a die-plate (10) of an extrusion press to form the mantle of the extruded hollow profile. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) an extrusion press for an extruded hollow profile, particularly for an extruded pipe; and (2) a heat exchanger.
