<p>The method involves receiving a request from a user, and subjecting the request to a requester (204) of a search tool for searching data elements in data sources (230). A user group associated to the request or the user is identified. Community databases (210, 211, 212) corresponding to the associated user group are examined, where each database contains the data elements on the basis of established criteria in the user group. Community lexicon bases (221, 222, 223) associated with the community databases are examined.
