<p>A solid fuel fireplace includes a firing chamber (2) for burning solid fuels. A filter (24) is provided for purification of resulting hot gases which are produced during combustion. A catalytic coating for oxidation of carbon monoxide and catalytic combustion of soot and smoldering products is also provided, which has pure filter effect for suspended matter. The catalytic coating includes a mixture of oxides of transition metals, particularly, 4th and 5th period of the periodic table of the elements. An elastic element is also provided.</p> |
