PURPOSE: An inkjet head and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent a residual material from being deposited inside an inkjet head by forming a water-repellent layer in a channel inner wall. CONSTITUTION: An inkjet head comprises an ink chamber(20), a channel unit(30), and an outlet unit(40). One end of the channel unit is connected to the ink chamber, and has a channel inner wall(301). A water-repellent layer(100) is formed in the channel inner wall. A liquid contact angle of the water-repellent layer is more than a certain angle. The outlet unit is formed in the bottom of the channel unit.
