PURPOSE: A broadcasting receiving apparatus and a method for providing and receiving edited broadcasting are provided to supply broadcasting with good quality and to which a characteristic of a personal broadcasting manufacturer is reflected to viewers. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(180) inputs an edit command. The edit command is to edit broadcasting received through a broadcasting receiver(110). A controller(150) edits the broadcasting based on the edit command. The controller controls the edited broadcasting to be transmitted to an external server. Data including at least one of image, voice and text are added to the edited broadcasting.
