FIELD: transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed modernization method consists in that all ropeway vehicles are divided into groups with identical number of vehicles and locating said vehicles at identical spacing. It includes also marking all vehicles in a group, arranging a set of boarding platforms by the ropeway lower pulley and making said platforms like vehicles in a group, making starting positions for passenger on every boarding platform and mounting acceleration-boarding or boarding devices on starting positions. Method of operation describes operation of the ropeway updated in the way described above. Claimed invention covers also designs of boarding assemblies and acceleration boarding devices used in aforesaid methods, as well as thrust-traction rotary level incorporated with boarding device. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency. ^ 7 cl, 12 dwg
