FIELD: textile, paper. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied in textile industry. Method involves preparation of stems, combing on the basis of bending and breaking with partial sliding bending throughout the length of stems, and scutching. When preparing the stems, they are oriented along the layer movement direction. Combing and scutching are performed starting from upper parts of stems. Combing is performed in steps with gradual increase of sliding bending value at each of those steps, and after the scutching is completed, cleaning of scutch fibrous mixture is performed by means of cyclic change of its apparent density and mutual offset of fibres relative to each other. ^ EFFECT: reducing the processing costs and increasing fibre quality owing to decrease of scutch content in it. |
