<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine for continuing a game without a player becoming bored. <P>SOLUTION: The slot machine includes a non-winning settlement determining means for determining whether or not a winning symbol combination cannot be won on the basis of each stopping rotating reel when any one of rotating reels stops rotating while two or more rotational reels are rotating in a game which has won a specific winning symbol combination. When it is not determined by the non-winning settlement determining means that the specific winning symbol combination cannot be won in the game in which the specific winning symbol combination is won, stop control of rotating reels so as not to display a specific symbol in a pattern display window; when it is determined by the non-winning settlement determining means that the specific winning symbol combination cannot be won, stop control of the rotating reels is performed so as to display the specific symbol to the pattern display window.
