PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a both-sided printing device which performs fixing appropriately and does not increase the amount of dummy feed. SOLUTION: The both-sides printing device is provided with: a paper feeding means for feeding a sheet-like print medium 100 continuously; an fixing means 240 which is continuously arranged in the downstream of an image forming means 220 and fixes the pictures formed in each of the first and second pages of the print medium simultaneously, a preliminary heating means 241 for preliminarily heating the pictures formed in the print medium with a far-infrared heater, and a temperature detection means 243 for detecting the preliminary heating temperature made by the preliminary heating means. In the mode for performing a predetermined adjustment for paper feeding by feeding the print medium before starting an image formation process performed by the image forming means, while the paper feeding speed of the print medium is established as the first speed when the temperature detected by the temperature detection means is within the range of predetermined temperature, the paper feeding speed of the print medium is established as the second speed lower than the first speed when the temperature detected by the temperature detection means is not within the range of the predetermined temperature.
