PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Artina pectinata lisckeana culture device for the Artina pectinata lisckeana only, which can surely sand-submerge the Artina pectinata lisckeana in a substrate, prevent the adhesion of the shells of Artina pectinata lisckeana, and is used for growth in suspended culture. SOLUTION: A byssus-fixing device for the Artina pectinata lisckeana only is disposed in a container using a substrate for antipollution-treatment and culture. When the device for suspending and culturing the Artina pectinata lisckeana is used, the floatation of the Artina pectinata lisckeana onto the substrate can surely be prevented by the byssus-fixing device in the substrate, even when a lightweight substrate such as anthracite is used, or when sand and silt are used. The adhesion of marine organisms such as corn barnacles to the shells of the Artina pectinata lisckeana can be prevented to culture the Artina pectinata lisckeana. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
