<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the necessary reading time according to the result of analysis of a medical image for reading, and to improve the accuracy in reading. Ž<P>SOLUTION: According to the medical image reading system, an image analysis device analyzes the medical image, and sets the reference reading time for the medical image based on the result of analysis. A reading terminal measures the reading time from when the medical image is displayed in a display part until when instructed by an operation part to terminate reading of the medical image.
